My name is Vera, welcome to my creative world!
I’ve been making art since I was just a wee one growing up in rural Rhode Island. Lately, heavy medium acrylics are my go-to base for mixed media works; incorporating oil pastels, spray paints, paper, pens— whatever feels right!
In the past two years, I’ve picked up tattooing! I’m in love with the process and stippled shading of hand poked tattoos!
Nature has a heavy influence on all of my work.

This piece came together last spring. I started with a few layers of bold and bright acrylic paints in the studio, and finished it with oil pastels to create its lovely vibrant foliage while sitting under my favorite magnolia tree in bloom at my local park.
I love trees and all the light and joy and color they bring to me, and I love this piece for the feelings of pure love and vibrant life that she provides.
Crafted entirely with heavy textured acrylic paints, I hope this piece brings you the same sense of warmth and sweet things on the horizon that is does to me.
This piece is mixed media— imagery pasted onto a splattered scene of acrylic paints, and adorned with said an impending frame of black paint pen.
